This would be run in every Zoo deck, I imagine. Her second ability needs some kind of cost, either tap or mana.

yeah, Flanking is kindova old ability. so its kinda hard to do anything about it. Honestly, for her power, i think she should cost just a LITTLE more. and personally would give her a +1/+1 for each apple token instead. just way back when, when magic was first kinda new, a creatures cost used to be "?/?+#abilities=mana cost" course, all game companies kinda force you to buy new cards just by making them stronger. makes sense to me sadly.

I can get behind this fix. Had to look up what flanking was but yea... I like this change.

There is one toss-up I have with it now though: The fact that her ping is now simply 'remove a counter' means if she's can dump everything all at once while still leaving you in an advantageous position. At the same time however she does have limited 'ammo' and can't reload (outside of proliferate/proliferate-esque effects) so that does make you reconsider dumping all your shots in one go.

yeah, I might make a "you can only play this twice per turn" clause, but we'll see. She could end the game for you if you play her when you have 20 forests...which nobody ever does.

Whoa there! X is used to let the player pay whatever amount they want for it, not how you have it used here. That should be an additional cost to use the ability.

"G, remove an Apple counter from Applejack: As an additional cost to use this ability pay 1 for each other time this ability has been used this turn <rest of spell goes here>"

Also, if I'm correctly understanding how this ability works, it gets very expensive very quickly if you use it multiple times in one turn. Lets assume that Applejack, through some mystical combination that we don't need to care about, has an infinite amount of apple counters on her person.

The first time you use her second ability it, in total, costs: G
The second time: G+G1 -> GG1
The third time: GG1+G2 -> GGG3
That's 6 mana for one Lightning Bolt's worth of damage.

Now, assuming I have it right, why would I use AJ as a repeat pinger when there are markedly more efficient spells/creatures out there? Having R in her cost means you already have access to Red's arsenal of flammable materials.

I fixed her up. Trample, flanking, new ability involving apple counters and it's actually a good one (and makes sense according to the show, more trees means more apples).

I must agree, this is indeed miss-worded and a tad overpriced. You could probably be fine just making it cost G to launch an apple. After all, assuming no counter-based shenanigans, it's already ~3cmc for 1 damage at sorc. speed.
